Angel Fire Resort

Angel Fire Resort
10 Miller Lane

Angel Fire Resort began in 1966, as a small ski destination in Northern New Mexico. We are proud to have grown into a four-season resort offering a memorable Rocky Mountain experience for families, outdoor enthusiasts and groups.

The resort is located 8,600-feet above sea level in the Southern Rockies and has views of  Wheeler Peak, the highest point in New Mexico.

Come tee off at 8,500′ on our par 72, 6,653 yard, 18-hole golf course surrounded by the majestic southern Rocky Mountains in Angel Fire, New Mexico. The front nine incorporates a longer-playing layout that meanders through two unspoiled canyons of aspen, spruce, and pine, while the back nine offers links-style play with smaller greens and plenty of bunkers. The signature hole, #6, places the golfer on the tee box 200 vertical feet above the green, 239 yards away, surrounded by groves of aspen trees and towering pine.

Located at Olympic Park, just south of the Lodge at Angel Fire Resort on Highway 434 and near the Country Club, the Angel Fire Resort Tennis Center has six hard courts including two Pickle Ball courts for use by Resort members, guests and visitors to the Moreno Valley.

Courts are available on a first come, first serve basis, except during regularly scheduled weekly events. All members and guests must register with the Tennis Pro before entering the courts. Members, please be ready to show your membership cards. All Tennis and Pickleball guests please register at the Country Club Reception Desk, located on the lower level of the clubhouse near the fitness center, when the Tennis Pro is not on site.

The Moreno Valley awaits your adventurous spirit. Meet it on foot to experience the great outdoors on terrain suited for all levels!

The Greenbelt trail system is a free-access system of trails that can be used for:

cross-country mountain biking
horseback riding
They are located around the Village of Angel Fire.

The Moreno Valley is home to a growing network of Cross Country trails from short out & backs to New Mexico’s only IMBA EPIC trail. Angel Fire area trail maps can be downloaded from both TrailForks & MTB Project.

The Angel Fire Resort Zipline Adventure Tour features 4 ziplines at the top of the mountain, high above the stunning Moreno Valley. Tours typically take two to three hours, and the ziplines vary from 700 to 1,600 feet in length. Between ziplines, you’ll walk along a well-maintained path which allows you to fully enjoy the beauty of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Zipline is only open in the Summer Months.
